This essay discusses maternal feelings in contemporary society. The professional role of women sometimes obstructs or prevents maternal role and vice versa. In this duality, it is as if the woman wants a personal and professional growth, but at the same time carry within a sense of remorse for not corresponding to the role of a mother and wife. Poetically, reflections on these themes in my images are represented by physical proximity between my body and bodies of marine animals, as well as symbology of water fluidity.
